WINTER ADVENTURES
Grades 2 - 6: Winter Wonderland
(November to March)
Watch as math and science come alive when students describe and create patterns, discover animal adaptations and formulate connections between humans and the natural world using our winter “adventureland” as a backdrop.

Grades 4 – 8: Winter Survival
(November to March)
Learn how to survive in the wild…Activities will include constructing primitive shelters and quinzees (snowhuts), rubbing two sticks together to get smoke, making tasty bannock, learning how to make a sun-dial and use a watch to tell directions, discovering which plants and trees are edible, and learning how to be prepared in the woods!
