Champion Tennis Academy at Adventure Valley
Ed Punzalan and Guy Noel, two of Toronto’s top tennis coaches, have teamed up with Adventure Valley to create a new tennis academy for players of all ages and skill levels. The facility features 11 hard-surface tennis courts, centrally located at Leslie and Steeles.
Champion Tennis Academy will offer spring, summer, and fall tennis programs including OTA sanctioned tournaments, and the NYTA Junior League. They will also offer private lessons, round robins, house leagues, and invitationals. Programs will be available through progressive, development, and high performance academies.
Progressive programs utilize a systematic progression of court size, balls, and racquets to scale the game down to an appropriate level for children.
Development programs expand on beginner skills and teach the students how to think for themselves - how to become game-ready players.
High Performance programs are for the competitive players who are confident in all aspects of the game and strive to win.
Champion Tennis Academy will also oversee the tennis instruction for the Slammers Tennis Camp, offered through Adventure Valley Day Camp. This program is for children in grades 2 through 7 who love tennis, but also want a traditional camp experience.
